AP1330. A US MILITARY 1826 MODEL FLINTLOCK PISTOL BY ROBERT JOHNSON MIDDLETOWN CT. The lock-plate is dated 1838. This pistol is in very good untouched condition, has original varnish on wood, bears the inspectors cartouche, all metal parts have a dark patina. The stock does have a couple of minor age cracks, the lock works perfectly with a crisp action. 8 ½” barrel, 14 ½” overall length. $2,400
